Planning in Artificial Intelligence and Robotics (PAIR) is a student research conference devoted to promoting research approaches to planning, artificial intelligence, and robotics. The main idea of this forum is to foster discussion for research streams of masters and Ph.D. students from the Czech basin and nearby regions to provide opportunities for broadening horizons and develop cooperation between particular geographically close departments.

The main motivation is to provide different insights into the problems of artificial intelligence and robotics, where it is possible to find problems related to the hardware robot design and also approaches, which are very close to being experimentally verified. A combination of such approaches in a joint context can enhance the quality of the results and support more challenging scientific challenges of both approaches. Although an ideal synergy in the way of an application of the new method to a particular robot can be achieved probably only in rare cases, such combination and information sharing can be beneficial for the approaches being developed in research laboratories to find possible experimental domains for verification of new algorithms or created supporting structures. Last but not least, this event can be a source of new suggestions and features for newly designed robots to try new technologies which can bring new added value to the studied problems.

The conference is open to submissions of students topics (title and abstract) and papers (full papers or extended abstracts) or slides describing research topics related to artificial intelligence and robotics, with particular emphasis to planning issues.

Submissions

The submitted topic might be accompanied by extended abstract (2-4 pages) or full paper (5-8 pages) that should use the IEEE double-column ieeeconf style (http://ras.papercept.net/conferences/support/tex.php). The submission might also be the presentation slides. All submissions must be made electronically as a single Portable Document Format (PDF) file via the workshop submission site at https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=pair2022.

There is no registration fee and participation at the conference is free of charge.
